13th September to 15th November: Mondays 6.30-8.30pm.
This is a practical course for writers who are already part-way through the writing of a book. Those signing up for it should, at the very least, have given considerable thought to the characters and overall outline of their work. Over the ten weeks the participants will work together to further the progress of their books, as well as engage in exercises designed to assist in strengthening the quality of writing. The goal of the course is that by the end of it, those attending will have gained sufficient impetus, clarity and enthusiasm for writing that they will go on to complete their books. Two previous participants in this course have gone on to obtain three-book publication contracts.
